Thailand: Elaine Worthington
Hope in the midst of ongoing slaughter...
Orphans in the midst of one of history's worst genocides ever... have learned to pray. The Lord knows each one and has a plan for them. We cannot forget them. These live in a refugee camp high in the mountains of Thailand at the Burma border. The girls in the center share a small bamboo dormitory at a Christian orphanage in the camp. There are near seventy kids here who receive food and shelter by the same group that opened a school and a Bible school in the camp. They go to school and study hard. They also know Jesus and they love Him. Learning more and more about Him... Two brothers in a crisis on the right... They came ahead of their Keran parents two years ago, but have never seen or heard from their family since. Many Keran are hiding in the jungles, more and more are being slaughtered.

A humble servant of India teaching Dalit (Untouchable) children with the Touch of Jesus Christ, John carries a burning passion for the neglected. This comes from a life of first-hand experience: a childhood spent as a member of the “untouchable” class to which he now ministers. The fruit of this experience is a labor of love which is currently reaching untouched villages with the Way, the Truth, and the Light. India: A land of one billion souls with over three million gods. With an average income of under $300 a year, many who are of lower income, particularly the Dalits or untouchables, have to fend for themselves. This answer to this dilemma is the love of Jesus.
